In partnership with the UC Berkeley Career Center, the MCAT Prep Scholars program provides a series of workshops to their participants. The next workshop will help these scholars explore the path to medical school by breaking down the application requirements and learn best practices on how to successfully apply.

In addition to these, there will be workshops and events meant to build community and provide exposure to different medical professionals and specialties.
- Wednesday, 9/28 from 5-6PM: The Path to Medical School (What does applying entail and how to be a strong applicant)
- Wednesday, 10/5 from 5-6PM: How to Get the Most Out of Every Encounter (Networking Skills)
- The week of 10/31-11/2 (date TBA): Solidify your Future (One-on-one counseling meant to target areas that need improvement and develop a timeline that works for you)
- Spring 2017 (date TBA): Field trip to SF to meet Dr. Karen Horton, micro-surgeon and breast cancer surgeon
- Wednesday, 2/8 from 5-6PM: Personal Statement (How to write a personal statement for medical school and tips on getting started)
- Wednesday, 3/15 from 5-6PM: Medical School Application (Step by Step guide of the entire application as well as secondaries)
- Wednesday, 4/12 from 5-6PM: Medical School Interview (What to expect and how to excel)
